ok i might be able to bring the power band back enough so it isn't to laggy off the line. I wouldn't mind a nice kick of power though

Another name for an adjustable cam gear, lets you change cam timing.

So it does 2400rpm at 100kph, my family doesnt care, the car runs sweet and always normal temp, fuel economy is 9L/100km on the highway and 13L/100km around town which is quite good considering.

Theoretically, fuel economy around town should improve with higher diff ratios.

150 aint hard dude ive pulled 144 with a 1673 and a full exhaust im sure with a chip youd make that kind of figure without tapering of the head. But im chasing a lumpy cam and more peak up top so changin cam and gettign some headwork and aftermarket comp my works 10 minutes away dont go on long drives this will end up being my weekender ,

need to work out what your plannign on doin with the car and trust me u say i ant this much only to say 3-4 weeks later i want more .....

You will need to re tune your computer.

It's the retune of your computer that is the tricky part.

that cam is too big if you dont wanna screw around with high stall and aftermarket chip/ecu

You are really going to be limited unless you change diff ratios, add high stall, and aftermarket chip because auto's dont like lack of vacuum

Do you want a fast car, or a car that pulls a nice number on a dyno?

If its set up right you can have both, but torque is more important than outright hp in drag racing. :lol:The bar has been raised in the last few years with kw readings everywhere. When i built my na x flow motor i wanted 200 bhp but got 197 at the tyres so thats pretty close but far enough away to make me get sad to this day. :( I think that it isnt a good idea to have hp or kw figures in your head when doing mods because you are almost always disappointed.Unless you just throw cash at it hand over fist till you get what you want.
