Hey guys. Im putting a T5 in my EB 6 soonish after securing a box & bits.

I just want to hear from people what recomendations you have for a suitable clutch and shifter to suit my application. Currently my EB 4.0 makes about 160rwkw with the bigger stalled auto.

And any other info you feel I might need.

Cheers, Trav.

Forget the early (ea & eb1) 3bolt flywheel & clutch setup. Go for a 6bolt flywheel (eb2 to au) with at least a clutch industries (aka PBR) RPM kit or similar. I have the RPM kit with the stock clutch plate in my EB Ghia, find it does great, hardly slips even when towing 2.5ton behind the Ghia. I don't have quite as much power as you tho. I would also fit up a billet retainer before the box goes in, and new seals as well, to make sure it doesn't leak on you when you put it in.

Check out the clutch fork, if you can pull the hook where the cable hooks on "back n forth" in the end of the fork, replace it with a new one, it shouldn't move at all. Also replace the shim that goes under the pivot bolt, the Au falcon part is still available & fits nicely in the older boxes.

Cheers

I do not recommend getting a clutch industries clutch. The one i had had a terrible pedal feel, it soprta felt like there was a lump half way through the travel. I'm not sure if they're all like that but mine was. I have an Xtreme clutch now which has a nice smooth travel and has no trouble dealing with my engine which isn't stock.

Did you replace your spigot bearing (pilot bearing?) and the fork?

I have had no faults at all with mine!

Cheers

Maybe, it can happen. I must admit I am yet to see a return thru work, and we sell about 20 kits a week for various cars.
