hi guys,
on my ED XR6, the muffler has a sort of rattle sound when it down gears from high revs. Its not rattling against the car of bracket, it seems 2 be within the muffler. any ideas what it could be? time for a new one? iv gota one lying around, the inlets are da same and everything is identical 2 my current one, any1 know what it would cost 2 fit just a new muffler? cheers

The insides have Worn away, Same thing happend to my old mans EB, You need a new Muffler

yeah the baffle inside the muffler has come away, mine did the same thing some time ago..
time for a new one...

orite, well iv got one here i can put in, its a "turbo something" cant quite memba the name, if ya say it il know it, will it change the sounds 2 much cauz at da moment it sounds awesome?, lol thanks Southy and sexyr6

More than likely your cat has had a s**t. The sound is the honey comb shratnale is rattling around in your muffler and cant get out.

i had same problem in the ef! just took half the exhaust off lol!

orite i see, so whats the best thing to do? prolli just go to an exhaust place and see what they recon, il prolli change da muffler anyway cauz when itap it i can here something in there, and i mite just ask about the cat, any idea's on what it would cost to just put the new muffler on? cheers guys

the muffler i have says "Super Turbo" with the numbers "177318343"
does this mean anything? lol anyone no anything about this particular one?
