got bored at work so i thought id make an air intake for the el and put the xr6 turbo intake on the ba, any way here some pics hope yas like it.

nice, now that you're getting more air into the airbox, you should get the air flowing better to the throttle body.
get an EF airbox lid, and some straight 3" intercooler pipe, and replace the plastic pipe from the airbox to the bendy elbow.

the EL box lid has a 2.5" ? outlet and the EF has a 3" outlet.

it all helps.

sounds good in theory but MASS HEAT SOKE FROM THE RADIATOR BATMAN!

I just run the snorkel of the EL GT Falcons, that should be enough air for the 6 and the bonnet rubber seals the mouth away from hot engine bay temps.

Looks good but :mrgreen: , like the SS inductions snorkel for commodores... just open up the 55mm airbox outlet and it will be sweet.

yeah soon as i get the piping done she will be sweet, as i said wanted the xr6t snorkal for the baxr and had no work on so i made it at work while i was bored so not bad for a days work i think.

will work good when i get me new head and cam i think.

there's a bloke on fordforums.com, that pulled around 170RWKW using the stock EF intake piping and plumbing on a engine with modifed HEAD and CAM. So I think If you just remove the 55mm restriction funnel then it will be all right...
