have you done any intake mods?
like a highflow panel filter?
bigger snorkel and lower airbox off a typhoon?

i personally don't like them. i would just get the lower half of the airbox off a Typhoon (has a extra inlet) and the snorkel off a XR8 i believe it is. throw in a K&N panel filter

I got the growler with the xr6t bigger snorkel, using the big mouth would be better as it can get more but i really like the growler. It looks different plus sounds really good, if you want that stock look then go with the poon mod but if you got the money and want to look a bit different than stock then why not go growler/big mouth combo

Hey just interested as yours is the BF you got the engine light on due to the high flow cat? i got a piece of pipe from my cat that the sensor plugs into, it stopped the light for about 8 months but now it comes and goes. i will be getting a custom tune soon so will get it switched off anyways

Cheers
Phil

Nah mate its coz the second o2 sensor that plugs into the cat. its getting readings outside its parameters due to the high flow cat. only way to get rid of it is with a tune (which is expensive but is the best way to bring all ur mods together for max power). If u take it to a decent mech they should be able to plug their computer in and tell you the exact error code- help confirm if its is the cat/2nd o2 sensor and something else or just the sensor. I was only able to find it through ebay but i arranged it through a local carline here in Sydney for $450.

Here is one for $400

From what I've heard the engine light does nothing towards making the car run too rich or too lean. The only reason the engine light goes off is because the sensor is reading a greater amount of emissions that exceed the legal amount of carbon emissions or something along those lines...
