Nice setup there, if you get some self adhesive rubber cushion strips that 4WD owners use on the (Canopy too tray) from clark rubber. Stick it around the airbox lid hole you cut out and it would seal the airbox lid too the bonnet so you would get 100% cold air feed too the pod filter.........................

hey, update on what i last modified to my intake, now i have an apparent cai (according to the manuufacturer) but its a s**t load bigger than the original inlet mouth!!!

Raptor, does your bonnet lining seal off the mouth of the snorkel ? You will be sucking in from the engine compartment if its not.

it seals at the top of the mouth so increased air flow from the front grille can be obtained!!!
I also had to raise the back if my bonnet to allow for the u bend as it was fowling out on it, but no problems now (and it removes alot of the hot air from the engine bay!).

whats actually holding the pipes down? does it hit the bonnet when driving?
