gday all. ive been looking at growler kits and came across these for nearly half the price.. just wondering what peoples thoughts are. and if anyone has any experience with them?

ive got a SS big mouth on my xr6t, pricey but very swanky. it would be good but all its really doing is canning the snorkel and cutting half the airbox off. imo you could make one with a bit of know how alot cheaper. look at the rapid systems or plazamaman boxed up CAIs and work off one of them if you choose to DIY

I have the ss growler installed on mine, i love it, made my exhaust much louder and you can hear it sucking,the money wasnt an issue for me as i knew it would all fit etc plus i cbf making my own

i got the big mouth, covers the top of the whole radiator, i got it because i thort it looked good to help tidy up the engine bay more than the performance, (if any) side of things

Ive read that the growler kit is much better than that standard intake, thats why i was asking about this alternative
