i was just woundering if anyone sells stroker cranks for 4 litre ford sixes, does anyone make them? or how about increased lenght conrods?
whats the max size i can go before the piston reaches 0.25 inches from the block surface?

if i cant do this, not knowing much about the el falcon 4L block, whats the MAX thou bore and hone can i get before the cylinder wall reaches a minimum of 0.09inches thick (as anything less than that will simply crack due to preignition)...

any help apreciated :o

Hey mate

0.060" is about as far as you'd want to go on the bores, thats what has been done on my 4L (well, now almost 4.2L!), and its holding up fine.

No 'stroker' kits are available for the 4L as the stroke is already stupidly long, and a longer stroke is not physically possible.
