I have an AU series III (auto), in an EA, and i know this sounds stupid but i cant find my dipstick for my gear box for the life of me. Ive been under the car and ive searched everywhere under my bonnet.... Can someone pleeze help as i think im low on trans fluid as my gearbox is taking longer to change gears (reving higher), and i dnt want to burn out all the belts...

From EF series II on Ford deleted the dipstick.

You have to jack the car up and crawl underneath and check/top it up through a hole in the side of the box.

Stupid bloody idea really.

You can have a dipstick fitted, but it involves drilling a hole in it etc.
