well for the cat
some people say magnaflow
ive got a zetti and that works well
dont get a no name one heard of some bad experiences

two things to look out for look for a mettalic cat not a ceramic the metalic lasts longer
and also look at the CPI value cells per inch the less CPI the better flow

as for extractors depends on how much you want to spend
the best would have to be pacemaker comp tuned length extractors
JMM also make good ones

if your after a bargain look for second handies as lond as theres no dents or rust

i got my JMM race series for $230 inc postage interstate second hand they retail at $450-$550

well the difference is about $100-150
the 4480s are tuned length i think
they are better but theres not much diff in power until you start doing some serious mods
all depends on what you want to spend

as for that other brand ive never heard of them im not going to say dont get them because i could be an idiot or there an upcoming brand

ohh and pacies should be for sale on ebay too
just when you search include store inventory

Id say go pacemaker 4480 comps. Most people opt for them over the 4499. So either 4480's or jmm race series. If you can get them second hand in reasonable condition and price go for it and just clean them up with a new coating if you want and they should be almost as good as new. For your cat choice, you could use you current one if it is still in good condition and get the flanges modified to suit the flange on the extractors and cat back. Or you get a high flow cat if you have the money - dunno the brands as i dont use a cat on my fairmont

good choice
the comps really start to shine (power wise) when the engine has some mods
stock though theres only about a 1kw diff between them and 4499s

if your stock cat is ok theres not much difference
however i felt i mayaswell get a hi flow since my cat had done 200 000 and youve got to cut the stock cat to fit it

1-2kw maybe more
