Im thinking of buying this car. would it pass rw ok? and do you think its a good buy

this is the ad
This is a 1997 Ford Falcon XR6 sedan Tickford enhanced and equipped with special order tickford leather, 3 way electric sunroof
and full tickford body kit. Plus all the standard xr features. It's in pretty good condition for its age It has a few shopping trolley dents (very hard to see unless your looking for them) and a few paint chips on the front bumper bar which i have posted photos of.
Over all its in good shape for its age. Extremely clean and tidy interior apart from one small tear in the drivers seat the leather is perfect!
I've always kept the seatcovers on the front seats to protect the leather.

184000 k's on the clock
It drives great and is mechanically perfect. Starts first time everytime. always serviced by a qualified mechanic.
It has the following modifications.

*Genie extractors
*Customised 2 1/2 inch sports exhaust with new cat
*Pedders ssl Sports Suspension
*New 17 inch tickford alloys with good tyres
*Tow bar
*Narva Driving lights kit
*Brand new alpine headunit with direct ipod control, usb, aux, cd ($400 )
*Brand new alpine 12 inch subwoofer ($300)
*Kenwood splits, rear speakers and amplifier
*Brand new radiator
*New brake pads

sounds pretty sweet, it's really just finding out if it's leaking at all and what it's like underneath about the roady, it's a cheap price too, It would be worth it even if it needs 1000 worth of work on it

Its an auto and has a tow bar fitted with 180 000km on it. i'd be a little concerned about the auto.

Get an inspection done. I use Sydney Vehicle Check (no use in VIC of course) but under $200 for an 8 page report by a licensed mechanic and panelbeater. They let you know if the panels/glass etc.. are original, accident repir work, mechanical inspection etc... well worth the money, they also give it a quick test drive. Then do a good once over with a mate, compression test is important also and you'll know as much as you can. The rest is just luck i guess. Ive done this with a dozen cars, and luckily never picked up a lemon. Just the usual wear and tear things ive needed to replace.

Only thing you might get knocked back on is height as it looks pretty low but thats a minor issue really.
$4500 seems like good value if its as neat as it looks and drives well.
