im looking for a cheap exhaust shop to buy a full exhaust system for my ba xr6, the shop needs to be in and around the Sydney area, my only request for the exhaust system is pacemaker 4490's, ive had quotes ranging from 1200-1900 for the same products which i think it just silly, so far the first place i got a quote from and the cheapest is Windsor Exhaust.
does anyone know a exhaust shop in the sydney area where for under 1200 i can get pacemaker 4490's, high flow 100cpi cat, and a catback system fitted.
thanks

Do you want cheap? or quality? If it's cheap forget about wanting pacemakers and a new cat fitted. Other wise take the quote for $1200 and hand over the money.

I was going to recommend Windors Exhaust as quite a few people have suggested them to me to get some cutom piping work done for the rear but then saw they have given you the best quote anyways lol. As another user said you get what you pay for with car mods, cheap isnt always the best way to go. Mind you I got a complete system using hurricane parts for $950 installed, I know you said you only want pacemaker but I have had no complaints with mine

at the monument im most likly gonna get it done at windsor exhaust, their service guy was more customer friendly then the other shops, and hes previously owned a ba falcon so he knows what to do to make sure its not too loud, which is the one thing i dont want. kinda ironic a p plater wanting a non mega loud exhaust lol.

green p's laws regarding car mods are the same for green and red, its no engine modification that requires a engerns certificate, theirs no difference in the law between p plate or full licence for sound, the law just states max db reading is 90 at 3k rmp, im going for a silent system, still louder but not mega loud in your face loud. im probs still gonna have 2 mufflers/resonator-muffler combo

i think it depends on if your pulled up for doing anything silly,
my mrs au has sports exhaust and she is on her p's, she has been pulled up many times for rbt and random s**t and they have never mentioned anything about the noisy exhaust..

too true mate, if they catch for say speeding they generally dont worry about your car (unless you are one of the real unlucky ones), this was the case with me, i had many defectable things but because he got a speed reading he was happy with that for his quota
