lol 5600watts @ 12v that's like 500amps

Don't Buy a s**t ebay amp.

More watts doesn't mean better.

if it looks like this: Image

You'll be ok with 8g imo.

I brought an $80 eBay amp could run sub and speakers , not together tho, never had any problems.
Their ok if ur not gonna power anything that requires alot of power, it's only good for small stuff where ur not gonna have it cranked up full

...wow....5600 Watts...that's insane...I think you need to run multiple 0 gauges or a couple of 250 mcm wires to suffice.

like the old 6 channel amp i ran in my XF. eBay s**t i bought off my old man for 50 bucks. reckoned it was 1800w on the case. the book said it was 50wrms each speaker channel (4) and 100wrms on each sub channel (2) so 400wrms.

it's just there so people are like "fully hektik powa uleh" and buy it

Remember with amps there are 2 power rating.
RMS is a constant figure. It can deliver that all day long.
PMPO is the figure that the amp can crack at absolute maximum. It can be clipped to the s**t house , and only deliver tht power for 1/10th of a second.
PMPO is also known in the industry as peak selling power.
A 500W RMS amp will be louder and more powerful then a 5600W PMPO any day of the week.

watts dont mean s**t its purely a selling point. like everyone has said, rms is what you need to look at! for an amp that is that sort of power, if your not paying a bucket load for the amp, its a cheap piece of crap! but 8 gauge kit will be fine

Bloody hell...

Not another one of these...

Why do people ask really dumb questions like this?

Music Power and DC Power are not related in any way as far as your concerned... I highly recommend the search button...

ford-audio-visual-f5/sub-amp-not-enough-power-t91082.html

Saves me repeating myself... Again...

Cheers,
Tim
