Morning guys,

ive wired up a 4x50 amp to 2x6 inch and a 12 inch sub, as far as i can tell ive wired everything correctly, but i am getting no sound from the rear speakers and only a small woof from the sub at hi volume,

im thinkin its got something to do with the amp setup its self, ie switches etc..

attached is a copy of the interface, any ideas would be greatly appreciated

regards

mick..

Turn up your GAIN, the little knob thing on the top left.

Yeh! Do that!!

Which channel is the sub running off? I'll assume its the one on the right.

To set the left side up to run speakers turn off bass boost, turn xover to off, input level should be on low (assuming its not just a volume boost, and low = rca, high = speaker line). I cant see what the bottom left switch is for....

For the sub on the right channel : Without knowing what the xover settings are actually at, I'll assume that lo is where you want it. Turn bass boost off, set fader to the centre so it isnt actually doing anything.

Do you have the sub bridged? CH3 pos, CH4 neg?

Try this and post what happened. :)

yes sub is bridged as you state, and is working now, but i have the fade set to on, there is no centre just off or on

however still no sound from the rear speakers only a hi pitched tone

botton left switch is for the auto turn on selection ie +12v, dc offset and audio

i appreciate the help
cheers
