Gotta love it when that happens and he drives off (after you have backed off) and then you see the camera flash. He he :)

To all of you who are interested in these. This site has everything you need to know. Once I've resprayed my car I'll be ordering one from here.

Even with $60 US in postage they work out heaps cheaper.

http://www.radarbusters.com/

Also, I'll probably be buying some later in a group so we can save on postage by getting it all posted at the same time.

Got a friend that bought in a couple. Was selling them to friends for 600 each, 650 if you wanted the blue version. Saved my brother a few times, until he turned it off as it kept beeping at him. :| Some people!

Yes I agree, My father had a new "undetectable" one and copt a $1200 fine from an unmarked police car, I can nearly bet that the people that make them, make the devices for the cops to detect them, they are a fun toy until a cop car goes past.

Yep, legal in WA, but they can do you for obstruction of view out of your windscreen or some crap.

in answer to the original question, a lot of people use the Bel RX65 or the 990 - there was actually a thread not too long ago on here, do a search.
I use a Whistler and that is decent too.
