Hey Matt any chance i can get some/buy of that dewaxer u have? Also is thier any chance that u have a full bottle of the Driven marine polish that i can buy off you? I cant get it in till late Feb otherwise ill just buy the normal Driven automotive polish insted.. I am thinking about not using the Prima epic now and just sticking with the Driven.

Cheers mate

you can take as many or as few as you want for $20 each. I need to clear em out as today was the end of an era and the beginning of a new one for me. Picked up the buffers for the last time.

Might be interested in selling one of my two makita rotaries for $150 bucks, its near new only four or so months old.

There is some stock remaining that I'd like to clear out cheap
Prima Cut (13), Finish (3 bottles), Hydro (18), Mystique shampoo (7), Driven Finish restorer (9), Driven Extreme Duty Glass compound (15)

$20 each or 4 (same product or a mixed variety) for $70 ono
Give me an offer, I would like to clear these out quick

Usual price - $30 to 40 each
I feel really relieved today. no more business BS, annoying people, a***, ridiculous hours and sickness from working so hard.

Congratulations on your decision, I'm sure you will have many more happy & relaxed hours with family/friends now that you dont need to stress about whatever it was you were stressing about.
I just hope you will stick around on the forums to continue giving tips & tricks to all us car nuts.

I currently have Menzerna PO85U that I use with my Kestrel DAS-6 DA RO. It is the first abrasive polish, and machine, I have ever worked with.
There's a few patches on my bonnet that, after working with the 85U, look like they need to be hit with something a little harsher.
Would Prima cut be a good candidate for that? (To be followed up with the 85U of course)

What grade sanding marks will Prima cut remove?

Prima cut is the strongest of the range and doesnt say exactly what size sanding marks it would take out but at a guess, I'd say 900 to 1200 grit. its gritty stuff and very powerful, but when broken down fully and jewelled at low speed, can finish down all ready for 85U or other soft polish

XRfan - yes hydro is a detail spray with synthetic wax. good durability and strong filling properties

Wow hasn't time flown by. Two months since the last post
I bet you all thought I had vanished without a trace.

No it was time for a well deserved break to unplug from the digital world and the real one too.
Been down to our Port Elliott Holiday Home last weekend
Anyway this week has been fairly quiet at Splash, we got an Aston Martin Vantage in on wednesday for Paint Correction and Gtechniq C1 coating.

For the next few months, I'll post up the best pics from our work at splash and sometime after June, I will again have a look at revolutionising the detailing industry or at least, the way that paint defects are repaired, paintwork polishing, glazing, sealing and anything else that I can think that hasnt been fully developed yet.

What I will continue to work on and develop is firstly, a rotary based reflowing process/techniques to make scratches and swirls melt away without any paint film being removed as well as orange peel reduced or removed at the same time

Then with help from my friend, Chris Houston in the USA, to invent all new tools and products that eliminate time consuming traditional polishing and paint correction methods, all whilst not removing paint film.

chris is already at work on a work light for me that will be something like 12 to 15 times more powerful and effective than my LED torch and cheaper than it
for now, Its goodbye and happy motoring
