looking at getting some on my ute i'm all new to this and where should i start looking around brisbane area

also at looking at putting on green brake and tail light LED's in stead of the standard red brake lights crazy i know but i love green - just wandering if anyone know if it is illigal also

i think you'll find thats very illegal.. brake lights must be red.. and in order to have clear tail lights they must contain red reflectors..



plenty of people seem to get away with the clear taillights, but i reckon you'd get defected pretty quick for having green lights

why would you even think that having a different brake light colour WOULDNT be illegal? (notice how i spelt ILLEGAL)

you might be able to order them from a super cheap store of something, i know they hav sedan ones. they are expensive though.

go to your local aftermarket panel shop and i think that you can source like chrome clear lights for Xd to XH and AU to BA but changing colours is highly illegal....

in reality nothing can be changed from factory with out engeering certificates just depends on the coppers attuitude

I see the point of being different... but changing the colour of you brake lights is illegal and it does compromise safety, and when it comes down to it, safety should be first. That and you'll be a magnet for cops.

Clear covers are best found on ebay, you can probably get something from china, they would have heaps for the ricers.

try repco i got mine for $175 but ebay is your best bet if you can pick up a pair for cheap!!!
