Today spent my day changing over my front bar over, and while it was off used the ebay product "glassylite" to fix up the yellowed headlights. So happy with the results

I used it too. Its good stuff. My lights didn't come out that good though, they are still slightly cloudy and are yellow from the sides. Lots better than they were though. Anyway you did a nice job.

Basically follows similar steps to the tech doco on here, but then applies the polishes that come in the kit. You wet sand with 2 different grades of sandpaper, then use this white paste polish stuff, rub it in, and they come out like they are, then it comes with a sealant, which is supposed to stop them from yellowing again, but only time will tell how well it works. Light output is outstanding now! |

Looks tops, let us know if they remain clean and clear so i can buy some glassylite, mine are not bad at all but would be good to have them cleaned then buy no headlights..

That looks awesome.
I did mine today with a few grades of sandpaper and some metal polish hehe

It was just one of those jobs I kept putting off until finally I couldnt stand them anymore hehe Honestly not a big job either.

Haha yeah, same here, had the glassylite sitting there for about 3 months. Figured while I had the bumper off I'd do it - more thorough job, save taping the bumper up and no possible way of scratching it... Regretting not getting onto it earlier, can't believe the improvement, lookswise and light output. u can just use normal wet sandpaper and a good plastic polish. I use 'mothers' plastic polish, the stuff is absolutely gold on all lights on the car!

Did figure as much, so probably not worth the $30, ey? Didn't know that all it was going to be was some sand paper, a polish, and a sealant before I purchased... But hey, stoked with the results, and if the sealant actually works and they stay looking like that, worth the $30 in my opinion. |

Well it only takes a couple of minutes to whip the headlights out so I never got why people would spend time taping them up.
I guess you got the sealant stuff..... will be interesting to compare results with mine after 3-6 months to see if it works.
