Hey guys,

I just drove to two panel beaters to get a quote on getting the following done...

- Prime and paint body kit (including front and rear bars, side skirts, door panels and bonnet garnish)
- Strip bonnet down to metal, remove stone chips, prime and respray.
- Weld up spoiler holes in bootlid, bog over, prime and paint.

First guy quote me $1200 for the lot and the second quoted me $1100.

Both these quotes were well below what I was expecting. Anyone who's in the business or had more experience than me think this is a good deal?

My car is a K1 Gunmetal Grey EF Futura.

Cheers, Sam.

Both sound like pretty good pricing to me.

Whoa damn cheap pricing, well compared to WA prices anyways. I was quoted $2091 just to paint my bodykit, no fitting, just prep and paint.

Is nlbxr6 still around these days? :)

Hope it all turns out good Goosey :)

Yeh well I rang around a bunch of guys first asking them all the same question. How much to respray my bonnet. Their answer to that question dictated whether or not I drove down to see them.

First place said $400 odd to respray the bonnet plus another $1200-$1500 to spray the kit plus another $400 odd to fix my bootlid and spray. He could put that in his pipe and smoke it...

There's one other place that I wasn't able to go to last night so I'm gonna go visit them straight after school and get a quote. The book my baby into the lowest bidder
