Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what it would roughly cost me to get someone to remove the rockerhead cover and get it powdercoated? Obviously it would have to include refitting. I don't have the ability to do this myself either.

I was thinking about doing it to my BF XR6 which just has the silver alloy colour. Not sure if its going to be worth the cost or not......

should cost around the 25 dollar mark, more if they need to sandblast it etc.

It'll cost more than $25 if you want someone else to remove and re fit it for you.

Haha yeah, well I know our joint has a minimum charge of 50 bucks, and remember you get what you pay for to a degree, some of the s**t we see come in sometimes.

I'm not sure exactly but you'd need blasting, potentially and (Thermal/Chemical stripping etc.)

maybe if your that afraid of getting your hands dirty this isn't for you.

I guess you can go to a mechanic and say hey can you do x,y and z probably taking over a 100 though, remember he not only has to remove and refit but get it couriered or take it to a powder coaters, and pick it up.
