Mines f**k to, only a couple of leds would light up, none probably do now lol.
Just disconnect it until you find a 2nd hand one from the wreckers.

According to Ford they are a non service part, they are supposed to last the life of the car, appearently they can not be replaced....

May be there is a way to do it but not supposed to happen

The whole LED light is screwed into the spoiler, so all you have to do to replace it is unscrew it and play with the wires. Its a sealed unit though, so if a LED goes you gotta replace the whole thing.

Is it a genuine wing or aftermarket? If the latter, draw a profile of one side on a piece of A4 paper and fax it to me on 02 6280 6020. Aftermarket lights are around $35 to $40.
Cheers, Bob

Why dont you just unscrew the led bar, bog up the recess it was screwed into and paint over it.

That way you get around the highstop light law as well.

Maybe because the rules are in Australia that if you have a parcel shelf brake light and you fit a wing which has the propensity to obscure that brake light, you have to have a brake light in the wing. That's why most cars have them these days.
Furthermore, you're brave to put that much bog in a recess and hope it stays there.
Finally, it'd be cheaper to replace the light than respray the wing, unless you're an aerosol can fiend!
Cheers, Bob

Thats what i did to mine.

I jyust ripped out the Roof level High stop lamp out of my corolla and wedged it between the roof and the headliner.

as for bog.

Half my front bumper is held together with bog after I ran over my mailbox chasing a dog that bit my son.

Mailbox = rooted

Son = now scared s h i t less of dogs

Dog = crippled

Me = no licence for 6 months and $1000 fine from RSPCA

any back to problem at hand.

The way I see it you have 3 choices mate.

Choice 1 = Rip off the spoiler.

Choice 2 = bite the bullet and buy a new LEd bar from ford or buy an after market one and install it.

Choice 3 = buy another spoiler.
