I saw this for sale on Ebay. i also saw something similar fitted to an E series wagon at the All ford day today and thought it looked good.

The one you most likely saw at All Ford Day was BenJ's one.
Just looking at the pics and they are using Bens wagon in their ad. Wonder if he knows? Pity they are using a proper steel bonnet as an add for a fibreglass tack on............

yeah if you have a look benj's wagon is in the photos of the ad, but have seen it on a AU and looked awesome with a hawk kit

I personally don't think the XB GS bonnet bulge works on an AU XR.
The bonnet is too steeply raked. On a Fairmont or series 2 bonnet, it would work a lot better. Cheers BenJ

Great thing about using a low series/XR bonnet is that they are cheaper to chop up than a High series. The Bonnet on Benj is Steel on Steel and fully welded as are both of mine. Would prefer to weld in steel but Fiberglass will work, at least costs would be cheaper than with steel. If you are interested contact me about fitting the scoops to the bonnet. |
