Hi guys,

First of all, I'm a newie, and a youngin. I'm about a week or so away from buying an ED for my first car.
Does anyone kno if i need to get spacers or anything if i put BA XR6 rims on it?
My bro's mate put 20's on his XR and he's sellin me the stockies.

Let me know..

Josh

Welcome to fordmods Josh. You can't go wrong with a E series as your first car......Strong, Reliable, Plenty of parts available and they are easy to mod (And best of all they aren't a Holden).

HI MATE! WELCOME!!! YES you will need the spacer's... as the "E-series" offset is different to the AU-BA offset...

nice choice of rim for the box car you want.. (ED) make sure you post "before and after pics"..

Congrats o the ED. I bought an ED as my first car, good choice.

BA wheels won't fit on an ED without spacers / hub adapters. I considered hub adapters or spacers to make a non e-series rim fit on my car, but instead I bought a set of BA XR8 rims in pre-AU offset last week and put them on today. They look great.

Good luck with it all.

Welcome to FordMods.....

As has been mentioned, your options are spacers or hub
adapters. They are 2 different items. Note that spacers are generally deemed as illegal but hub adapters are fairly common.
Check with your Transport Authority in your state to see what's
permitted.

It's official!!
I now own a straight-as 1994 White ED.
Ask questions if anyone wants.

I wanted to ask... are 2 hub adapters by themselves any good?

Check out the ones on eBay below.
