If it were the sensor, if i touched the car or rocked it, it would go off correct? well it doesnt.. it goes off when there nothing happenin around it... no1 near it nothing... so cant be a shock sensor

Mine wouldnt go off if I rocked the car.

If I kicked or hit the car near the sensor it would go off. But if I just like wandered into the car and bumped it, it wouldnt.

A cat jumping on the bonnet would sometimes set it off.

A truck driving by anywhere upto 30 feet away would set it off. Or a V8 or a riceburner with a cannon exhaust would set them off if it was a close driveby.

Was weird and random for me.

Those are possibilities but it went off during the night when there was no1 around.. i was lik 20 metres from it sitting an watching.. nothing came near it, nothing drove by.. it just beeped.. i have been to a few mechanics an they are not sure.. my local auto electrician is like oh i will have to ave a look at it.. how can u look at sumfin that occurs here an there... i have taken the horn relay out of it to stop it goin off becoz it was goin off at like midnight.. i was ready to blow the car up... i had enuff of it.. So might be a ford.. will be speakin with them bout it...

You dont have a sensor for the windows that detects if someone reacheas through? My mates alarm goes if the wind blows on these sensors so he can't park his car with the windows down and the car locked
