Is it possible to change the trip computer and dash lights to bleu LED's like the EF-EL conversion.

Dont quote me, but I think it is : The trick was to change the filters in both of them from Yellow (orange) to blue.

I saw a tech doc a couple of years ago. Should still be around if your lucky

We actually got the LED globes from a guy on e-bay (will find link and post it up soon), the only problem is daylight its not quite as bright as the yellow ones, but night time its awesome. You could purchase the same globes from any auto shop like Autobarn etc..............
But we changed all the globes and even have the ones to change all your climte control lights to blue instead of orange, just havn't got around to doing them yet as they require soldering and that takes time............LoL
But it definatly is possible and you don't need to do the paper or i read a post once on doing blue vinyl, its just a matter of changing the globes with a twist and a pull :P :D , its definatly well worth it thou and you could make it pretty much any colour you want with the range of LED's available now.

Are any of the LED's Surface mount?

(the really flat square ones with a flat leg sticking out each side and about 4mm long? )

I hate soldering surface mouns... :-(
