you guys have any ideas if i can change the globes in the middle of my EF on the roof
ther 12v 5w and 12v10w but they have the little steel sleve over the halogen and the piece of copper touches the base and yer gives light you guys know if i can different colours or anything ? |

Hey Krisisdog,
How did you do the A/C unit? I pulled apart a spare one that I had a while ago and it looked like the globes were soldered in. Did you have to do any soldering for it? Yours looks really good.

Yeh you have to unsolder them, then resolder in the ebay LEDs after you pull them out of their base. Bit fiddly, just have to try to not melt the circuit board, but get the solder hot enough so you can slide the legs through the holes in the board. Maybe half an hours work in it by the time you pull the AC unit out, do it, then put it back in. Falcs wrote: Yours looks really good. Cheers

just wondering for an AU cluster do either of these work and what would be the better one
 just need a blue cluster to go along wiht my interior. ty for help in advance

i bought the t5 small blue bulbs the one you guys recomended off ebay
just wondering how i go about fixing them into the back of my cluster ? do they need to be solderd or ? |

Hey, You shouldn't need any soldering if you want your cluster to come out like the guys on Page 1 of this thread. You will need to take out the front trims first to get to the cluster. Its just a straight swap with the globes and leds...i think only six globes you need to replace with the leds. Unless you want to go all out like Krytox's cluster
