hey guys, i recently installed an nf fairlaine dash into my el wagon.
The problem is, when i turn on my headlights, the lights behing the LCD display turn off.
just wondering if anyone could help?

read that link. you need to add a resistor.

the dash in the link is a low series one.
The nf dash i have has a different layout. There is no where to put the risistor.

Then you'll have to add a resistor externally on the rhs plug, iirc pin 16 requires input to illuminate.

NF is generally a Fairmont, DF is Fairlane, I should have picked that up, if I read your entire post.. :/
