i'm probably gonna get flamed for this but anyway....

can anyone tell me if the bulbs used in the instrument cluster are T5 or T10 wedge type?

also can someone point me to or explain in detail how to remove the low series climate control? i can get the electrical plugs off but not the cable or vacuum hoses, i didnt try coz i dont want to f*ck anything up.

these questions have probably been asked already, sorry if they have but the search turned up nothing useful for me.

thanks ppl

To do the dash and the Trip Computer you need 8 T5 LEDS and for the Climate control you need 2 T10.

Just a question where are you buying urs from?
cause im going to do this aswell

3 for the CC and to make things more technical you also need some home made led's with resistors for the demister, aerial buttons (i found it easier dismantle the narva led's and use their resistors as they're about ¼ of the size.

Yes, you need to take the front part of the switch off to get to it - be careful of the spring loading - the spring might go shooting off.

those leds are good, and with a little modding you can make them sit in the demister button and face outwards. looks good when the rest of the dash is done in blue, though the heater/ac area looks pretty crappy unless its with clear/white leds. blue just doesnt work well, however with cc (fairmont +) it does.
