Hey,
Does anyone know a trick to removing the gear knob thing. My cars an automatic, 2001 au. Its one of those ones with the button on the side.

they all have a button on the side unless its manual.....

i think its like the ef one...unscrew it

simple. slide into 1st
have a philips head screw driver , theres a screw on the front of the gear knob, unscrew and oull up

Yeah thx, completely missed that when first had a play. found it second time round haha. stupid replacement i bought doesnt fit on the stem

knew i shouldnt have trusted the bastards at motoquipe.
