Hey guys

I just put in a starter button in my ef i bought

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 704wt_1139

I thought i would let you guys know how i did it,

The kit comes with everything you need relay/switch/loom

First i used the 2 thick wire's from the kit and attached them to the ignition barrel.

On the ef not sure about other e's you have to use the yellow for constant power and the red/black for starter.

You then connect those 2 cable's to the relay provided.

After that you need to connect 1 of the cable's from the starter switch to the relay and the other one to a 12v power source, i used the cigarette lighter. Then the last cable on the relay to the other end of the 12v power source, so if you used the + from the starter button use - from the relay.

I drew up a shonky diagram below.

Thanks

Anthony

That looks pretty awesome actually.... very Honda S2000.
I have an EF as well so obviously it works - any problems with it, or is it really as good as the eBay description says??

I kind of want one now!

only issue i had was the bracket that comes with the switch is to big for the cigarette lighter hole so i had to just clue the button in place from the back.

But yeah i was thinking it would take ages but onces i found the right cable's from the ignition barrel it took about 15 mins.

LOL i was getting angry coz i could not get it to start was about to break something but then i realized i put the car in 1st so i could get the ash tray out. put in N brooomm.

Haha, awesome.
Only thing with mine would be I don't think I'd put it in the cigarette lighter space (I use it too often lol) and also mine has one of those weird downwards opening ashtrays with the lighter behind it.

And the stupid dash is too curved to put it anywhere useful! lol
