Hi Guys,

I have got myself a new daily (EL Fairmont Ghia). The car is dead stock. It runs ok on petrol and a complete slug on gas.
I plan on completing the following mods
JMM head (tickford one, with a complete port and polish)
Genie extractors and full exhaust system
And some sort of a baby cam (Nothing over the top)

I am also looking at installing a snort performance eaton supercharger kit.

So taking all this into consideration, I started shopping around for prices on gas injection and received differing prices from $1000-5000.

I had a look on ebay and came across the following kit, just wondering if anyone has had any experince with it? and is it just a matter of me buying the kit and taking it down to my local gas fitter to have it all installed for a couple of hundred bucks?

Snap and I both have this kit on our cars.

Snaps is in an EL Wagon, and mine is in an EB Wagon with EL donk.

Our cars both had LPG already fitted, and we did the installs ourselves at home.

There is some detail in my build thread about the install etc.

Cheers
BenJ

Thanks for the response mate. How do you rate the kit and components?

And how does it perform under boost?

I have just fitted a sequential kit to my Maverick. It is the last couple of pages of my build thread.
The guy I got my kit through has them up and running and emissions complied on BA and BF XR6 Turbos so Im reckoning they go ok with boost.
Mine is a different kit to Ben and Rays but the principle is the same.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

The kit in standard form is only good for up to 220rwkw max.

I will be adding a second regulator for extra flow when I boost the BARRA that is about to make a home in the EBs engine bay.

Considering the Ebay kit is a Chinese knock off, I am impressed with the build quality, although the temp sensor in the regulator has gone haywire in the last month.

Cheers

Thanks for your help mate. For a daily i dont think i would push past 220rwk. Anyone know what 220rwk is converted at the fly wheel?

You said the kit is a chinese copy. Is there anything out there which better? I dont mind spending extra on a quality kit.

The kit EVL098 linked to is a better quality kit. It wasn't available when I bought my kit, and I would have considered it seriously.
