Todays race at the Gold Coast with Courtney getting a s**t black flag was the final straw for me. I have started a Facebook page to get 50000 V8 Fans to get rid of Tim Schenken as V8 Race Director. The guy is obviously biased toward HRT and 888 and I, and 75 members in 1 hour agree. Tim Shenken and the whole crew should be removed and a professional group brought in to oversight the racing. Even Skaife remarked that this acion was not only the first time it has ever been done, but at other meetings the safety director had stated that the direcion cannot be revoked. It just goes to show you that not only are they biased towards certain teams but Tander cannot win a race unless other outside factors are thrown in, in his favour. I also beleive that they should bring in a ruling that to race a V8 supercar, then the drivers, whoever they are and how much they drive overseas, must qualify. It is obvious that some of these so called champion drivers cannot handle the power or the traffic that is experienced in V8 racing. Just look at the number of incidents that occured during the race. Come tomorrow and see how peeved of the other teams will be. I bet half of them won't say boo for the fear of being penalised by this inept, useless bunch of morons who are running the circus.

So I wasn't the only one half asleep on my couch with Bundy red in hand thinking "what does it take to be a race director or steward. Even I could do a better job than these muppets".
You know somethings not right when Mr HRT himself (aka Skaifie) straight says something doesn't seem right. As biased as big nose once used to be, I'm actually taking a liking to him these days. |

You should see the official v8 FB page... amazing, there must be 1000 posts on there and only 1 or 2 are holden fans saying harden up, 50% are holden fans saying i support driver a but you guys got f**k over and it needs to change. So, sign up, get on board and lets see if we cant get someone with a pen licence to run that show.

Yeah it sucked didn't it?, WTF was going on?, i agree with you xcabbi!!.
It will be a interesting race today, and see what happens, did anyone see how heart broken Courtney was?, i felt for the poor bugger!. Hope they get revenge somehow!!. |

Supercars nowdays are s**t.
It's pointless watching machines made all to pretty much the same specs, with a different shell, racing around a track with .001 second time differences. It's all down to driver skill now. Gone are the days of watching the XY vs the Torana, or the coupes and monaros. Now THATS racing, there was a lot more skill in takin a corner at 100Ks in a XB coupe than doin the same in a current BF/VE shelled supercar. Plus how many ford teams are there now anyway? 4? 6? And the rest of the 30 or whatever cars are all f**k holdens! It's my only b**ch about ford. GROW some FKCUING nuts and get a real race team going! Till then it's a huge waste of money, but it's HSVs stupid money from stupid people who buy the stupid cars, so I hues the can spend it as stupidly as they stupid well want.....stupid Holden...
