Hi guys,

Dunno about you, but this seems like a great deal to me. This car I have seen for sale before but was never in a position to buy (nor afford) it, but always thought it looked nice. However now he seems to have reduced the price and I am p****d off that I bought the wagon now. Anyway, I rang the guy to find out more.

1996 Fairlane Ghia, (the sign he put on on the window doesn't say Ghia but its got the badges so I assume it is one) 136000 k, 5L V8, white, from what I can see it looks tidy, although it needs a wash and detail to have it coming up a treat. Its white.

Reco transmission, although why it needed it after those K's who knows - he is second owner reckons original owner didnt service it probably, although chances are either or both of them drive it as it was designed to be driven!

For the measly sum of $8600 - s**t. Until I bought the wagon it was within my reach. Anyone want a cheap AU Wagon?

Anyway, new shocks as well, his name is Laurie and his number is 0404 092 729 and its located in Kirrawee, Sydney. The guy works for an engine reco company (not Higginbottom who are also in Kirrawee I don't think)

Give him a yell if interested - looks pretty good.

Since the BA has been introduced the market for NL's has been dropping - probably due to the fact they are getting old now

the EF/EL XR6's in melbourne if you look in the trading post they are about 9-12 grand, even a few XR8's between that price range too, not to bad on prices at the moment.
