They just used the standard EF/EL XR6 intake scoop which you buy from ford spare parts as an EL GT snorkel. They also removed the small bellmoth funnel inside the EF airbox lid and replaced it with a bellmouthed 80mm pvc pipe. This does away with the 4bolt lid adaptor so yeah the lid looks a bit different.

Pretty exy but. EF/L's are only $2,500 to $3,500 these days from what I've seen, and that thing hasn't had many mods done.

Yeah that's only high km buckets of puss, find me an EL fairmont with under 125000km for $3500 in vgc. You won't find one.

Low Km EL fairmont's and Ghia's are still getting up around the $6000-$8000 mark... They are even selling higher than series 1 AU falcon's.

I think the price is pretty good, probably get it for $5800 with cash.

Cheers........

The car being sold is a Falcon, not a Fairmont.

There's an EF down here with Tickford suspension and wheels, body kit and a few other factory options, decent kms for just over $3,000. There's a fair few similars out there.

Take a look a Nickos beautiful Fairlane - he's struggling to sell it and only asking $6,200 now!

Settle down EL__Fairmont . I bought my EF for $3000. 5 speed, 205,000km, lowered, perfect interior.

As for the Autospeed car, hes bout 2 grand too high.
