why dont you make your current ECU in to an EF XR6 one? Will cost you about $100.

Ben, Ill be watching the 3DFA, I need an ED V8 ECU to dump the code off and play with.

Hay Benj, is a EL XR6 ecu pin compatible with a EBII XR?

Hey Mate

Yes it is. I am running an EL XR Ghia ECU just like the one I am selling in my EB. As I am running the EL donk etc, it made quite a bit of difference over the std EL ECU.

Yeah im running a ed xr6 at the mo, which is good, but i want some tunability for the turbo setup. Apparently the el ones can be easily modified for this?

If you are referring to the J3 chips, then yes, the capability exists to customise the tune on an EL ECU.

you can convert the definition for the EL chips on to your ED bin, but for the effort you will need to go to, it would be easier to just pick up any EL 6 ECU, and then you can make it in to what ever you like, XR, Ghia, GLi, auto/manual etc.
