There has been a lot of discussion on these forms about the best bang for ya buck ECU out there today, the Megasquirt I and II. Discussions on this ECU on this forum can be found in this thread

Currently, the estimated cost of a Megasquirt I through this forum is $230.00. That is for a DIY kit, including case, to be assembled by the customer.

Estimated cost for fully assembled Megasquirt I kits will be around the $400 mark. This price will include limited after sales support and for each fully assembled Megasquirt ECU that is bought through this thread, a $20 donation will be made to Fordmods.

Wideband oxy sensors with controllers will be available for approximately $320.

This thread is initially to gauge interest in this project. Once demand is known, firmer prices and estimated lead times will be posted.

Well, I'm afraid this has ended before it began.

Unfortunately there are some people on this forum that feel that this project shouldn't go ahead.

Therefore I will widraw my offer regarding the Megasquirts. I'm sorry for everyone who was interested, but there will be someone else on this forum who will try and make this work. I am obviosly not the person to do so.
