hi guys im thinking of selling the car so get rid of a few debts and do something different so here it is
97 EL Fairmont
heritage green
car has 264000km's
motor has around 7000km's
all the usual fairmont stuff interior is in great nick
currently just has EL GHIA rims on it
brand new tyres rego runs out may 06 but will sell with 12months rego on it
full house rebuild 7000km's ago
basically is crescent stage 4 build consisting of
bored and honed 40thou over block
ground and balanced crank
trw 250 rods closed honed and reemed to suit 9mm l34 rod bolts
40thou over and 30thou milled jcc pistons
all new timing gears and chain
crescent stage 4 head massive ports
ferrea valves and springs
crescent stage 2 cam running 14mm lifters
lightened and balanced flywheel
motor itself is fully balanced etc
had new custom clutch from western brake and clutch when motor went in
mini spool diff
jmm scavenger extractors
2.5in high flow cat + 2.5in system
ive just put a racer pod on it but it doesnt have full mandrel intake yet so more power to gain there
car hasn't been dyno'd yet hoping to do it this week so when i get figures ill post them up but should be good for between 170 and 180
currently has and will be sold with stereo consisting of
Alpine 9831 HU
Alpine 6.5in Ddrive splits in custom made door pods
front amp is rockford fosgate punch 250 A2
sub is venom 15in in purpose built box to suit running off jaycar response 2x150 amp
trust me guys anyone who has seen this car in action will tell you it is definately a quick 6 and surprises alot of people it will do a 2nd gear stand still and the click of a finger heh

And buy does it move ... seriously move.
I'd say it's closer to the 180rwkw mark ... if not more really.

It's difficult to launch gently without lighting up the rears as well.

Ohhh ... and can I say .... sleeper.

I'm assuming the motor is worth around 5g?

probably more..

And revs well past that too

yess motor is worth well more than 5g i would have spent closer to 10 on the build etc.
Also forgot to mention that the car is ofcourse lowered with lovells springs and kyb shocks all round and has whiteline adjustable front swaybar
and for all looking this is no longer an expression of interest for the right person it is genuinely for sale definately regretfull but such is life

Dont spose you'd be interested in a swap for another heritage green EL fairy with a $3k stereo, tickford bodykit, 18" shadow chrome rims and superlows all round??

you should be advertising it for around $15k if you ask me.

Not to be a party pooper. But 8k is more about the value. Unfortunatly, engine work adds pretty much $0 to the sale price of a vehicle.

of course engine works adds dollars, but can be harder to sell and you wont be able to sell it for how much you built it for!

im not looking to get back what i spent on the car otherwise id be asking more like 20g and no im not looking to swap for anything as it states i need money to pay off debts so thats why im selling and if people are going to post up in here s**t about trying to put down someones car and a sale dont bother posting okies im just trying to sell my car not create a disscusion on s**t

If the right buyer comes along he may get $12K. Just have to wait and see if he or she comes along.
