Well it will be a sale that ultimately I will regret but it has to be done.
I am quite stupidly putting the mighty boat up for grabs.
Have decided to move it on seeing as though it is awesome having 3 V8's in the household , ultimately 3 are not exactly required. Mainly but , I am getting the s**t with seeing the Maverick starting to deteriate from not being used. I wish to sell off the boat , put the money into the Maverick to get it how I want it and drive that everywhere instead.
1995 Fairlane Ghia.
168000kms
Pretty much immaculate interior
Lowered on Superlows with Bilstein Shocks and huge a*** sway bars. (Handles like its on rails)
Advance extractors and 3" single system , has a very nice note to it.
3.45 diff with Richmond Gear Lockright lokka.
Gearbox reconditioned about 15000kms ago and a Shiftkits.com shift kit fitted.
Slotted front rotors and new wheel bearings.
New water pump , radiator and header tank.
MSD ignition upgrade.
K&N Filter
Underdrives
Grey Tickford perforated leather XR8 steering wheel like new.
Sont bluetooth MP3/WMA headdeck with Pioneer competition splits in the front , Pioneer comp 3 ways in the rear , 10" boxed Pioneer sub with a Kenwood 4 channel amp and a Sony 2 Channel amp for the sub.
The exhaust , front rotors and wheel bearings and diff would not even be 7500kms old.
The car is serviced every 5000kms. Has just been done within the last 2 weeks actually.
Goes pretty well for the size of it , handles great and is like driving your loungeroom around. I have done a couple of 700km trips in a day in it (single driver) and get out at the other end feeling as fresh as a daisy.
It is pretty good on fuel for a V8. Get around 14l/100 around town if you are not upping it and I have had it down as low as 9l/100 in a trip.
The AUII wheels in the pic will not be included with the sale. On pickup the car will have a set of FTR's on it with 4 new tyres. The wheels will not be fitted or tyres purchased until the buyer leaves a deposit. It will be then done either that day or the next.

It is due for another 6 months rego at the end of April , but does not need a safety inspection. That is not due until the end of October. If I get the price I want I will include the 6 months rego. I cannot honestly see any issue with it passing a RWC in other states neither.
If you do not wish for the car to have the FTR's and new tyres and the 6 months rego we can negotiate on the price. If you wish to do this the car will come on 4 standard steel wheels , or bring your wheels with you and I will help you change them over.
Obviously my MB5766 plates will be replaced before sale with a set of standard issue NSW plates.
I am happy to deliver it to a car carrying company or have it picked up from here for interstate buyers.
I am chasing around the $6500 mark for it with the FTR's , 4 new tyres and 6 months rego , but am happy to negotiate to serious parties , not the "Thats hot man , Id buy it in a snap if I had the cash" brigade.
Car does have some minor hail damage to the bonnet , bootlid and roof. I have a spare bonnet here for it , can arrange a new bootlid. These will both need painting. If I did it before the sale obviously the price would be more.
I will put more pics up in the next couple of days once I clean her up and get it ready to sell. I am not expecting much luck moving it on here , but have decided to give members a crack at it before I list it on evilbay and carsales. It will be on them by the end of the week but.
If you want to know anything more PM me or call me on 0405456879.
Rememebr the price is NEGOTIABLE to SERIOUS parties.
Cheers Matt

Not much chance of the wheels going anywhere sorry mate. One will be put in as the spare in Donnas car and the rest will be in the shed waiting to be refurbished to be kept as spares for the XR8.
Yeah will be a shame to see it go but I reckon its for the best.

Good luck with the sale Matt. Will be watching with keen interest to see how you go.
I am preparing my boat for departure as well.....never to return  Won't be wasting my time on here though :P As you say.....too many "awww man....I wish I had the munie....I'd snap that right up LOL". Then the result is 90% of your ebay watchers will be sticky beeks from FM as just happened with the NA I just offloaded.
End of summer boat sale has begun  Hope you get your asking price mate.....deffinately worth every cent

If I dont get the money I want for it , it shall stay were it is.
I will just have to slow down doing stuff to it and concentrate more on my truck.
Then learn to ration my driving time between them....LOL
