Hi Guys,
Picked up my new intake from stomper through the bulk buy a few days ago, however after much deliberation I have decided it is not really what I am after; so its up for grabs.

It is the full 3" mandral bent intake as per this design http://fordmods.com/forums/download.php?id=14952

I paid 160PP for it, however will be happy to let it go for 150PP, or pickup in SA.

I am going to make something slightly different up using an AU intake.

Simon

Hi, is there any specific reason why you spent so much & waited so long and now you dont want it? Is there clearance problems?

Yes, it required the bonnet lining to be removed and I would rather pursue a different option.....Other than that, it flowed very nicely and I noticed abit of a pickup down low. If you have a look in the pic, there is no bonnet lining on the car pictured, not a big deal, but its something I would personally rather leave.

Intake has been used on the car for all of 20k's. It is painted a matt black and comes with the black silicone joiners.

There is no way thats the same as design as what was originally mentioned. Won't be disappointed as long as it does the same job.
The bends are at different lengths and angles along the pipe- fingers crossed that won't matter too much

The start of this thread says this was picked up at the start of december and is design 1- I don't think so. This has been on a car for a very long time- inside the pipe is filthy

Hi Newby,

That intake was on the car for all of one day, how you see it was how I got it.

It was meant to be a design one, it is the same as all the other design ones that were made, that was all I was going on.

I assume if its filthy inside then then whoever made the intake hasnt cleaned out all the protective oil and gunk stuck to it inside the pipe, doesnt mean its old & used.

Ive never bought new pipe that hasnt been filthy inside it.

it wont be filthy as such, as its after the air filter. like fordfairmont said, new metal has crap you need to clean off it.
if it were used, it would dust stuck to it, just like you placky one does.
