Hi all,
Up for sale is my old R31 Series 3 Skyline, it's been in the family since 1996 and always served us well. I unfortunately wrote it off last July after hitting a brand new XR6..

Details:

1990 Nissan Skyline Executive Sedan
White
238,000km (odometer stopped around 228,000 but I used a GPS w/trip meter for months afterwards)
3L RB30E - still starts and runs well, due for a service at 240,000
4 speed auto - has always been retarded, I never thrashed it but it never shifted incredibly well
Does not come with rego plates, they expired in November anyway.

The Good:
In the 12-18 months before it was written off, I had the following done:
-new alternator and battery
-starter motor overhauled
-new thermostat and O2 sensor
-new tyres in Jan 2010, done less than 10,000km
-new windscreen

The Bad:

Damage was never properly assessed, they just wrote it off and that was that. It's mostly just panel damage, the radiator support has moved a little but it hasn't pushed anything in the engine bay around.

Damage at the rear was from a slippery corner and a give way sign.. bit of a DIY repair job.

Panel wise it's not the best, most of the front panels are damaged and the doors/rear have minor dents/scratches as you'd get from a 20 year old car.
The engine is still good, these RB30's are known to go 400,000km +. As for the transmission, I don't know, but I drove it for 2 years and it never gave me trouble.

Basically I just need to get rid of it..it's no use to me just sitting here.
Asking $450 for the whole thing or make an offer.
I'd rather sell it as a whole because I cannot be bothered taking bits off it.
I'm not expecting an influx of interest but I'll put it on eBay if nobody wants it..and after that probably off to the wreckers!

Any questions, just ask.

Cheers,
Jesse.
