The ad has been fixed, it's for a 6 cyl.

A high volume oil pump has larger impellers than a standard pump to increase oil flow.

Me too :) I don't think you'd notice any difference over a standard one for normal driving, more so for track work/racing. After oil pressure issues in the past though I figured the extra few bucks were worthwhile...

I noticed a massive difference. After having 5 different 4L's with oil pressure guages you get the hang of whats normal. The waggin holds much better oil pressure at idle and it comes up alot faster from a cold start.

So just the needle sitting in a different position ? I only have the low series cluster so I used to just get the oil light coming on when I hit the brakes
