Would i be able to turbo my EL manual 6 with Jim Mock Dev5, or would anything from that kit not work with the turbo?

may have a bit too much compression.
low boost should be fine with a good tune.

what compression is the DEV5 kit? high octance fuel and a good tune should be fine for most compressions

As I understand DEV 5 comp is about 9.75:1 (stock XR/Ghia is 9.35:1).
But I have never had it confirmed.

I think its a tad over 10:1
If you want to go Forced you'd be better selling your entire JMM kit and starting from scratch - NA and Forced require 2 entirely different approaches!

theres a guy ova here with a JMM Dev5A head and cam making 410rwhp at 7 psi.
dont think hes having any probs.

Maybe he isn't having any problems (yet), but why invest $6000 (or however much a Dev5 kit is) for a setup which doesn't have any of the attributes of a good turbo build?
Might as well put that additional $6000 to your turbo budget

yes the dev 5 stuff works well with turbo.
the guy over here in perth with the dev 5 kit didn't invest in a $6000 dollar kit for turbo. the car had a dev 5 kit on it long before it was ever turbod. the car has made a best of 514rwhp on 12psi so far, so i don't think he is complaining.
