I just had the time to read through this build thread and i have to say Pete, its amazing as per usual.

I'm tossing up whether or not to convert my el manual 6, to a EFI 351w manual. I realise the T5 is fairly week, but to get it on the road and running it should hold up to the task. Atm, i'm just sorting out g/box issues. ie sourcing the correct bellhousing to mate up to the 6cyl box.

Does Dellow make a bellhousing for this? And i assume the input shaft length may prove a problem?

is Suburban imports the best company to purchase a 351w through?
And is the "factory 351" a roller block.

Anyway, enough of wasting your time.

Thanks mate.

The "factory 351W" listed on surburban imports is not a roller block, bout 400 difference for them to do a roller for you.

American direct imports (07) 3297 5415 in Brisbane have std bore roller shorts for $795 and they still have the cam and lifters in them! '94-up 351 blocks are the roller type.
Honestly I think you'd be better to just sell off the 6cyl T5 and get a 5.0 setup which will just bolt on...except you'll need a 28oz imbalance 10.5" 157T flywheel.
Or if you want to eliminate trans problems from the start get a TKO-600 or T56 conversion and use an 11" 164T flywheel.
