reflex in campbellfield do manifold welding. Should cost about $40 to fix

Have you got the lower out aswell? Might be easier for the welder to bolt the manifold onto the lower and weld it complete so it doesnt warp and is flush.

nah havnt got the lower off and didnt realy wanna take it off either might have to ask a couple of mates who are welders what they think

Youd be surprised....Ive seen a part of a cast iron block epoxy glued and it held up for years

I had some need-it replacing a worn hard to get to welsh plug on my skyline, they do hold up to heat and alike and do infact last years.

Exactly the same thing happened to mine!!!

Cost me $50 to get it welded and have the face machined true.........No big deal......Although I did panic at first and various wreckers were quoting $350 for the upper!!!!!

cost me 50 to get it welded today i spent a hour filing it and making sure it was level then bam cracks again it must be up the s**t real bad gonna have to get the upper and lower milled i think, oh my must this engine fight me the whole friggin way!!!

Take it back, a proper weld shouldnt have cracked again.

nah hardley tightened it at all, and i was being real carefull with it cause i knew it might be a problem
