I was lazy and didn't polish the throttle body or the lower inlet. I painted the lower with that cheap and nasty silver chrome paint. I attacked the upper with a sanding disc on a 4' grinder and smoothed out all the casting sand marks and mold joins and then used a josco buffer wheel with matching josco soap and then buffed it up. It ain't perfect but looks better than before.

This is my old ugly engine bay after i put the new hoses on. The new car looks better but only cos the cover hides everything!!!
