Sell the NC then bud, coz the wheezer is gonna cost ya..

Put a nice sounding Exhaust and Extractors on it and Put it on Gas and keep it as a Econo-bus.

Pre 1998 5.0 Windsor + Power = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Decent set of heads, get rid of the E7's decent cam and get the thing to breeth with some extractors and exhaust. all can be done over time, start with what your budget allows for.

Plenty of guys here will be able to dirrect you down what suits what, ultimatly depends on what sort of budget you have and what sort of numbers you are hunting for.

i bought an AU111 Explorer intake with a Phenolic spacer to reduce intake temps, and a polished Ford Racing 70mm throttle body and matching EGR spacer with a 70mm MAF and a set of 24lb injectors to put on the NF, which possibly would've been good for 20kw but after realizing how much restriction is caused by my LPG set-up I've decided to stay stock and get my ZD Fairlane on the road.

Cant get decent power without spending money. They go hand in hand. If you cheap it you will end up spending more in the end when cheap things break. Save, plan, spend once, smile because you were patient and thorough and did it properly... unlike THIS guy ;)

with 5 grand you can easily buy an au 2/3 xr8 engine and use that with plenty of change for other upgrades, auto, diff etc

If you have 5k just go for a Raptor Supercharger Kit. Might cost you 6k inc labour and tune but should give you at the very least 180rwkw on a E7 headed windsor.

Easily able to return to stock for when you sell the car. Far easier to fit than f**k around with heads, intake e.t.c. Beautiful Supercharger sound and will put out more power than a N/A AU3 220kw motor anyway.

^^ What he said about supercharger - on EB Series most likely best bang for buck.

Good bang for buck, but on an older engine expect problems to come out along the track. It will be ongoing. Blowing a motor stresses a motor and brings out the hidden weaknesses.
