i have a supercharge Gold in mine....but i sell supercharge & marshall (which is Exide with a different sticker)...the Exides are actually far more under rated than supercharge...the sticker says 460CCA but in then you put it on the battery analyser and it reads out like 580 amps....supercharge batterys give about a 20 cca higher reading than stated on the sticker....and we sell them for the same price, so i know which one i'd get.....

Persoanlyl I don't like Exide, we sell them rebadged as Champions and there's a fair few warrenty claims for them... With that said my mothers, fathers and sisters car aall have one fitted with no problems!

exide E550H 550cca arnd $115 from k-mart.
last almost 2 years in the cab which is amazing as any other we've had struggled to last 1 year.

haven't tried the 'dry', optima etc, batteries so can't comment.

my car is 5.0l mont ghia I live in a cold climate area battery is a supercharge MF50 with 600cca and 3year warenty the reciept says the battery is 2 1/2 years old and paid $140 frosty mornings dont bother it at all.
