on the normal one, it's on the actual head of the rack near where the steering shaft goes..

on the ghia, the plug is on a lead that is near the shock tower.

is it possible to add it to a El xr6 ? or to much work to both doing to it ?

you could add it to any EL.. but you'd need a Ghia wiring drivers side wiring loom/steering box/ECU and a wiring diagram..

lot of trouble to go though for a fairly small benefit.
