Well the news is that EF302 will soon be EFwithanAU302!! Basically it's going to take too long to clean the engine so I'm strapping in a nice AU donk that I've got my hands on. Then afterwards spending some quality time with the old engine cleaning it before reassembly and selling it off. (Anyone interested in a EF 5L with GT40P's, explorer (AU) manifolds and performance cam??!!!)

The current theory is that the hole in the timing cover was caused by cavitation of the water pump?? Every bastard seems to have a theory that blames someone else and it's frustrating that there's no way to prove one theory wrong or right... Especially when the timing cover is only 8 months old!!
