Yes, you're right... I'll try again tomorrow and see. If it's too close I might get spacers but I don't wanna go crazy on spacers either or the tire won't fit in the guards. Ahhhh... and I bought the wheels cause they were Fords and I thought it meant I wasn't gonna have to muck around to get them fitted.

Yeah it's fkin weird.. I know a few guys have them on their AU, BA and BF's.. Like i said i've got XR8 rims on mine with 235/40/18 and i've got about 10mm clearance... 245's should be only 5mm wider on the inside?!?

Yeah... you're right. Something is not right. I was thinking about camber but then I looked at the tires and the wear is very uniform, so it can't be that either.

It's got to be the tyre width... Because that upright that its hitting is solid to the hub.. You move it in and out to adjust the camber...

I was just reading on another forum ppl saying that they run that same size tire no issues on their BA/BFs. I just can't understand this... it's either something very simple or so hard I'll have to sell the wheels haha

Yeah, yours is close but it seems to have a gap still... the part the tire is touching is that curved piece of metal that runs parallel to the shock. I "think" a 10mm spacer would solve it but I don't wanna buy the spacers without being sure 'cause I'll never have another use for them.

Yeah that upright is what the hub mounts to (wish i knew the name of it... oh well). Got me stumped. :?

All four rims are 18x8's? Have you tried both sides of the front?

hahaha nah... I appreciate the questions!! I didn't try to compare the size of the wheels to be honest. They all seem to be the same width to me... I'll have a decent look tomorrow cause the car is parked on a spot with almost no light. Not sure if they're 18x8 either... they're suppose to be whatever came stock from Ford on the XR6T FG! haha

Sorry, not many answers! One thing though, I removed the dust cover of the wheels... but surely that can't have an effect right? That thing is like 1mm thin!

I was just going through the posts and saw the post where you link to this ute with FG 19s

Got me stumped!

I didn't tighten the bolts on the wheel before spinning it but if felt like it was tight against the hub... my mind is playing tricks on me already! I almost wanna go down to the garage now and try again! haha

Thats cool, nah that wouldn't make a difference... I flicked mine as soon as i got it. They should be 18x8 but just by chance that FG did get a staggered option?!?! But i highly doubt it... Not in those rims anyway. GT and Pursuit rimes were. Rim size should be stamped in the back of a spoke.
